with American Cancer Society to Help Patients “Look Good … Feel Better”
Cheyenne, WY –Cheyenne Oncology & Hematology Associates is teaming with the American Cancer Society in February to help patients with a new diagnosis of cancer learn how to cope with appearance-related side effects of treatment. The program will be offered on February 25, 4 p.m., at Cheyenne Oncology & Hematology Associates, 4116 Laramie Street in Cheyenne. Refreshments will be provided by Wyoming Cancer Resource Services.
The program will show patients how to disguise hair loss using wigs, turbans, scarves and various accessories and how to enhance their appearance using special make-up techniques. Each attendee will be taught to perform her own make-over using complimentary cosmetics and skin care product and will be invited to have a 4 x 6” photo taken and printed at no charge after the session.
