  Hospital’s Marketing Department Receives National Awards

Cheyenne, WYCheyenne Regional Medical Center’s Marketing & Communications Department has received four national awards for advertising and marketing excellence. The department received notice this week that it has been awarded two gold and two bronze Aster awards.

Gold awards were given for Cheyenne Regional’s community newsletter, Your Health/Your Choice, and physician newsletter, Physician Connection. Bronze awards were given for the 2010 Comprehensive Services and Physicians Directory and the Tree of Remembrance hospice mailing.

The 2010 Aster Awards consisted of more than 3,000 entries from healthcare organizations across the United States as well as Canada and South America. Entries competed against similar-sized organizations in each category. Gold awards were given for entries that scored 95-99% and were among the top 5%. Bronze awards were given to entries that scored 85-89% and were among the top 16%. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message and effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.

The Aster Awards are hosted by the national magazine Marketing Healthcare Today and Creative Images, Inc. Entries were judged by a diverse panel of healthcare marketing experts.

All winners are posted on the Aster Awards’ website (www.AsterAwards.com) and will be published in an upcoming issue of Marketing Healthcare Today.
