Hospital Hosts Open House for Women Infants and Children Program
Cheyenne, WY - Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is hosting an open house at the Laramie County Women Infants and Children (WIC) program on Friday, May 14, 2-4 p.m., at the Cheyenne WIC office, 1307 Crook Avenue. Refreshments will be served.
The WIC program helps low-income women, infants and children by providing nutritious foods, educating families on healthy eating and referring participants to other health and social services. WIC participants include pregnant women, post partum women, breastfeeding women and their infants as well as children up to age five.
Cheyenne Regional’s Women and Children’s Services began oversight of Laramie County WIC in January.
