Hospice Volunteer Opportunities
Hospice affirms quality of life with dignity; neither hastens nor postpones death, but encourages patients and families to achieve the degree of preparation for death in the final phase of a terminal illness. The emphasis of hospice is on comfort care.
An integral part of the hospice team are volunteers. Volunteers are a backbone of the hospice team. Hospice volunteers are fully trained to provide support to hospice patients and their families. All hospice volunteers have a true desire to help. Hospice volunteers are caring, emotionally mature and committed to the mission of hospice, patients and their families.
Volunteers are available to assist with:
Patient care, Spiritual Resource Team, Bereavement, Greeters, Office, and Grounds.
